We often have either young stock, eventers or polo ponies available
Horses and Ponies currently available
We produce a small number of horses some of which are homebred Quarter horses. All of the horses we produce are brought on slowly with their best long term interests at heart so they have the best chance of long and fulfilling careers.
Harescombe Bonfire
2022 Pure Bred QH Gelding by Wilden Shogun
Fire is a stunning red dun gelded colt he has a lovely temperament and is always willing to please. He loves attention and will suit a competitive home as he has a lot of personality and is very brave and confident. He would do anything pony club eventing polo and will make around 14:3hh. 5 panel N/N by parentage.
His Mum Hollywood Pixie Doll has bred numerous stunning foals two of which I have. She is now playing polo and really only started her ridden career aged 13 and is one of the nicest mares I have ridden.
Harescombe Artist (Arty)
16hh AQHA registered gelding born 2021
Arty was born here (pictured left with his mama Pixie). He has had a fantastic upbringing and is the quietest easiest chap you could possibly wish for. He adores his work and has recently been backed and is hacking out happily. We will progress his education to the point where we are happy he is established enough to move on and then he will be an available to a nice kind home. Arty has seen everything from hedge trimmers to tractors and is never spooky or silly. He takes everything in his stride and loves attention. He would make a fantastic all rounder either for Western disciplines or English and moves well enough to event to a decent level. Equally, he is not a horse who will care if he competes or not only that he is useful to his lucky owner. 6 panel negative by parentage.
Santorini
Santorini has been an absolute privilege to own for the past 3 years. She started her eventing career 2 years ago and has taken to it like it was always meant for her. She is straightforward, kind and honest with an amazing personality. Everyone who knows her loves her and she is known as the unicorn. I am only selling as I am looking to step up and whilst she has the capability I am big on her and so feel she would be best suited to a younger or smaller rider who she can teach the joys of eventing.
In the past two years she has brought me back into eventing and she won the regional champs in 2023 qualifying for Bramham where she was double clear finishing 13th (would have been 7th but I went a little to quickly X -country. We just completed Bicton BE903DE where we were 20th. She is super reliable and any elimination on her record is as a result of me getting lost or missing out a fence (I am dyslexic) and no reflection on her.
She is good to do everything with lives in or out alone or in company. Passed 5 stage vetting and full x-rays which would be made available to purchaser.
She is available to only the best of homes where I know she will be cherished.
